SASO ACCREDITATION RENEWAL

We are proud to announce that our laboratory confirms to be at the forefront of ENERGY EFFICIENCY EVOLUTION, having recently received the renewal of the SASO accreditation! 

Thermowatt in recent years deeply invested in extensive knowledge of the regulatory standards and in the set-up of a laboratory dedicated to energy efficiency tests. 

In 2018 Thermowatt received the first SASO accreditation, becoming an officially authorized laboratory to perform energy efficiency tests according to Saudi standards SASO 2884. In 2019 a new milestone has been achieved, becoming also an accredited laboratory (ISO/IEC 17025:2018) by ACCREDIA, officially authorized to perform efficiency tests compliant with both European standards ErP (EN 50440:2015 + Reg UE 812/2013 + Reg UE 814/2013) and Saudi standards (SASO 2884:2017). Today Thermowatt achieves the third milestone: the renewal of the laboratory accreditation according to Saudi standards.

This important recognition for our laboratory enables us to offer a high-value service to our Customers.  
Indeed, it allows us to support water heater manufacturers in:

• product development phase, suggesting them the most advanced technologies to maximize energy efficiency of water heaters;
• product certification phase, releasing officially recognized test reports declaring energy efficiency classes according to the different regulatory standards.
