PRODUCTION MANAGER

The role will ensure full operational control of the Plant’s activities according to efficiency/cost targets and in compliance with environmental, safety and labour regulations.

He/She will be responsible for the following activities:

• Provide overall leadership, direction and coordination for plant operations;
• Provide coaching and development of plant staff to ensure effective leadership, collaboration and balance in achieving KPIs focused on safety, quality and productivity;
• Monitor production plans and ensures alignment with manufacturing output and Group standards;
• Increase production asset capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs;
• Manage labour efficiency (direct and indirect costs);
• Ensure plant personnel is operating in compliance with plant and Group procedures as well as with local regulations;
• Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures promoting a world-class safety culture.
  
  

The ideal candidate has a Master's degree in Engineering with 3-4 year of professional experience in production in WCM/Lean manufacturing companies, preferably from batch and job order production.

Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (workplace organization, kaizen) are essential to be successful within the role.

Entrepreneurship, organizational and planning skills, people management, flexibility and pro-activity will complete the profile.

Fluency in English and availability to travel are required.
